He’d never been good with words, chattering all the time but rarely about things that mattered, and his feelings for her were never made more plain than when he touched her. With the stutter of breath, the blush of skin, the taste of sweat and the pounding of blood, he didn’t try to hide or deflect anything. He was here with her, worshiping with hands and lips and body, and the rest of the universe could be on fire and he wouldn’t have given it a second glance.

Y’all know I adore Anna, right? Because I do. She’s a fab person and she’s my grammar/fandom twin, and even though it’s very rude of her to live in a different state I still love and forgive her. And today we should both skip work and hang out and have a perfect day. 

How about I skip work and do everything on this list with you, instead? I like that idea. How much do last-minute plane tickets to Texas cost? Oh, only $851 one-way? We do want one-way, right? Let’s be honest. How likely is it that once we meet and hang out IRL that I’ll ever want to come back to GA? NOT LIKELY.
